Well, "most" folks refer to the city as "Yakima". However, Silas has his own pronunciation of it. "Akima" has a great ring to it.
Whilst I was in NYC, my Mosey was partying with Grammie and Grandaddy in Yakima. He had the time of his life. Pizza parties at Grandaddy's office, helping Grammie pick gourds out of the garden, playing with the puppies, and master-minding plans to move in with them ... I'm certain.
My in-laws have taken him twice this year. Both times being a full week. The child barely knew I was gone!
Darn you Grammie and Grandaddy ... and, THANK YOU!!!!! He had the most wonderful time.
